Adeliv contains ademethionine, a naturally occurring compound present in almost all tissues and bodily fluids. It is a multifunctional active ingredient used in the management of liver disorders, depression, and osteoarthritis. Ademethionine plays a key role in liver conditions linked to impaired bile production (intrahepatic cholestasis). It also helps restore serotonin balance in the brain and inhibits the production of certain inflammatory substances responsible for pain and swelling in osteoarthritis.
